In this tutorial Alex shows you how to go from Substance Painter and importing those textures into Blender.

For following along make sure you have the Node Wrangler addon installed – which is delivered as a default addon with Blender >= 2.8. Awus036h driver for mac.

This tutorial shows how to use one of the best texturing programs in the world, Substance Painter, with Blender. Whilst there is no official integration betw. I asked about blender in the Substance Designer. But does Painter also support it? Even if it's just bmp exports to the UV map? If so, is there any way to get alpha and masks back into blender? Or would this only be good for basic textures in blender with no shine and such. Or can I at least bake the texture with specularity and such? Then export the image that way?

How to export the textures from Substance Painter so that they can be used in Blender.
Create the material in Blender (Node setup for Principles Shader) with the nodes using the exported textures. Here the Node Wrangler addon is used which is a great help.
